For most of us, eating healthy when we’re busy seems impossible. When your time is divided between work, kids, family, friends, and any other commitments that take away the hours of your day, you won’t have enough time to shop for what you need for a recipe, let alone chop, cook, and clean up afterward.

but don’t worry, Today we are going to give you some tricks that can help make healthy eating possible no matter how busy you are, It’s about finding creative and smart ways to cut down on the time it takes to prepare and enjoy a healthy meal.

Eat more whole grains:

In an ideal world…you wouldn’t eat carbs unless they were made from whole grains rich in fiber to reduce the risk of heart disease, but this rule is very hard to stick to. What you can do is replace pastries and crackers with whole-wheat baked goods and also replace your sugary snacks with popcorn, ensuring that you get whole grains daily. Keith Ayoob says, Associate Professor of Nutrition at Albert Einstein College of Medicine: The truth is that while most women need five to six servings of grains a day, Half of it must be unrefined.

And one serving equals a slice of bread, half a cup of cooked rice or pasta, or 3 cups of popcorn, so the task is not difficult.

Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits:

Most of us don’t get the recommended servings of fruits and vegetables every day. This may be because washing, preparing and storing them can take up a lot of your time.

But instead of buying a turkey sandwich, for example, choose a salad packed with turkey, and the portion is smaller than you think, which is 1 cup of raw leafy greens or 1/2 cup of other vegetables or fruits. If you’re sick of salad, add avocado slices, tomatoes, and half a can of vegetable soup to your meal, which will give you three servings.

Or serve canned vegetables as a side dish. Also enjoy canned fruit as a mid-day snack.

Cut everything at once:

It’s easy to use pre-made ingredients when you don’t have time to chop, clean and cook but still want to make a healthy meal. Chop up a bunch of vegetables and keep them in the fridge. This will make it easy to whip up a quick soup, stew, stir-fry, or even add to scrambled eggs when you’re in a hurry.

Eat more fish:

The healthy, unsaturated fats found in fish treat inflammation that can lead to heart disease, diabetes, and even cancer. According to a recent study from the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, People who consumed 500 milligrams of omega-3s a day – from seafood or fish oil pills – were less likely to die of heart disease than those who didn’t.

You can always take omega-3 supplements instead of eating fish.

Cook the basic ingredients and put them in the fridge:

To make sure you always have something healthy on hand, Linzy Ziegelbaum suggests cooking meals when you have time and storing some in the fridge. Just defrost and heat food when needed.

For example, Make a batch of meatballs and keep them in the freezer for when you don’t have time to make dinner.

Boil a bunch of vegetables and freeze them until you use them

Always carry your snacks with you:

If you really don’t have time for a full meal, You can at least eat some healthy snacks to keep you feeling full so you can find time for your lunch.

Keep a box of cereal, nuts, dried fruits, chocolate chips, and seeds on hand in case you need it.

Because if your feeling of hunger worsens, you will not be able to stop yourself from buying any snack full of harmful sugars and fats.

Buy more, shop less:

Plan your meals for the week, then write a shopping list for everything you need. Take your list armed with a pen to the supermarket and get everything you need in one go. Instead of going multiple times in one week!
